You can join a Webex meeting from your computer, mobile device, phone, or video device. Pick whichever works best for you.
Webex doesn't share your IP address with other attendees when you join a meeting.

Windows and Mac
Open your email invite and click Join meeting. If this is your first meeting, Webex automatically downloads the app. Click the installer file to install and follow the prompts. From Linux or Chromebook, you aren't prompted to install. The meeting opens in your browser.
Click Open Webex if you're prompted to. Otherwise click Launch meeting.
Enter your name as you want it to appear, check Remember me, and click Sign in to access the full feature set. To skip features, click Join as a guest.
Enter your email address, check Remember me, then click Next.
Enter the meeting password from your email invitation and click Continue.
In the preview window, choose your audio: Use computer audio (default), Call me (Webex calls a number you enter), Call in (dial in by phone), or Don't connect to audio.
Click Unmute if you want to greet everyone when you join.
Click Start video if you want to be seen. To connect to a compatible video device, click Use video system.
Click Join Meeting.
iOS and Android
Tap Join meeting in your email invitation when it's time to join.
Tap Download to install the Webex Meetings app and join the conference. To join by phone only, tap the number on your screen.
Tap Open after the app installs and accept the Terms and Privacy statement. First-time iOS users need to tap the meeting link from the invite again to enter the meeting.
Edit your name as it should appear, enter your email, check Remember me, and continue.
Tap Sign in for full features, or Join as a guest to skip.
Tap OK. If needed, enter the meeting password from your invitation.
Choose audio settings: Use Internet for audio (default), Call me, Call in, or Don't Connect Audio.
Tap Start video to preview before joining.
Tap Connect to a device if you want to join from a compatible video device.
Tap Join.
Web (browser only)
Use the web app if you're on Chromebook, Linux, or just don't want to download anything.
Open your email invite and click Join meeting.
On Windows or Mac, click Join from your browser. On Linux or Chromebook, the meeting opens in your browser automatically. If you see a meeting details page, click Join Meeting.
Edit your name, check Remember me, and click Sign in or Join as a guest.
If asked for a password, enter the one from your invitation and click Continue.
Choose audio in the preview window, allow browser camera/mic access if prompted.
Click Unmute, click Start video, then click Join meeting.
Phone only
Open your meeting invitation and call one of the numbers under Join by phone. If no numbers are listed, contact the host.
Enter your meeting or access code, then press #.
Enter your attendee PIN or ID, if you have one. If you don't, press # to wait in the lobby for the host to admit you.
When you dial in, you'll hear everyone but won't see shared content. Join from a computer or mobile device to see what's being shared.
Video device (Cisco or third-party)
Join using a SIP URI or IP address.
Join using video address: enter the meeting address. On Webex devices, follow the steps for Board, Desk, or Room Series.
Join using IP address: enter the IP address, then enter the meeting number.
For 1234@example.webex.com, only SIP TLS is supported. For 1234@webex.com, SIP TCP, SIP TLS, and H.323 are all supported.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Webex account to join? No, you don't. You do need an email invitation that provides the meeting details. Ask your meeting organizer if you don't have one.
How do I join using a meeting number? If you have a Webex account, sign in to your Webex site and enter the meeting number in the search box. Without an account, join by entering the meeting number at webex.com/join.
Why is there no audio? If you're using computer audio: speaker or microphone volume may be low (check settings); an overloaded network can cause poor quality (turn off video and other bandwidth users, or dial in for audio); on browser join, allow Webex to use your microphone.
Can I test my audio and video before the meeting? Yes. Join a test meeting to verify your audio and video before your real one. The test meeting also auto-downloads the app, which speeds up your next join.
Why can't I record? You may not be the host (ask the host to record, or wait for a cohost). Your site may be out of storage. Recording may not be enabled by your administrator. Free users can only record from the desktop app. Visual watermarks on shared content can also block recording.
